The modular weighbridge is constructed in MODULES. Each module is assembled with IPE beams which are then welded to the rusticated cover plates.

• At the “head” and “tail” of the module, a FLAT profile having a length of 3 m is welded to which the beams are then welded. Between 2 IPE beams is welded 1 HEB beam with reinforcing plates for supporting the load cells and the plates for connecting one module to the other.
• On the weighing platform there are, at the load cells the inspection hatches which allow direct access to the area of the weight sensors to carry out their cleaning from debris or sediment, or for replacement in case of failure.
• Galvanized steel 10.8.
• Slip-resistant embossed sheet metal loading surface particularly important in dirty rain.
• The embossing promotes the drying of the surface as it prevents the stagnation of water.
• The same gives the sheet more rigidity and greater resistance to trampling.
• Metal crowning edge, complete with sway limiters and side edge to prevent damage to the floor.

With modular weighbridges, no work and/or maintenance is carried out inside the weighbridge containment tank itself.
